White-tailed lizards can be found scattered about the Forbidden Lands in Shadow of the Colossus. They make their homes in the save shrines and a few other locations. When Wander kills one, he can consume its tail for a stamina boost. The white-tailed lizards are not to be confused with the regular fully black lizards, which only replenish a small portion of Wander's health. A Lizard Detection Stone can be unlocked by defeating 8 colossi in Normal Time Attack, or 10 in Hard. The lizards are fast and somewhat hard to kill.
