Quadratus

Quadratus is the second colossus. A slow-moving giant resembling a bull, this colossus is fought at the bottom of a canyon, near the lower supports of the great bridge on map square F3.
[edit] Path to the Colossus
Exit the Shrine and head south. The canyon is right there, but you must find a way in. Fortunately, it's a very short trip. There is a landbridge on the east side of map square F3; cross it. Shortly after a cutscene will play, directing you to a path to the bottom of the canyon. From there, ride west to find the colossus, who will break right out of the wall. Use your sword to guide you in the precise direction.

Agro is here to help this time, though you don't need him; this colossus is very slow and you will need to be close to its legs anyway. When it lunges up to pound the ground with its two front legs, you will notice that the bottom of its legs look suspicious. Shoot one of them with your bow and arrow and the colossus will fall to the ground with its legs bent, allowing you to climb up. If you are playing on Hard Mode, it's a good idea to shoot its left leg to better reach the Hard-exclusive weakpoint. Otherwise, continue climbing sideways across its body until you reach the tail end; this weakpoint can be taken out with minimal trouble.
One weakpoint to go. Be careful crossing its back, and hold onto its fur if the colossus begins to thrash around. You can usually take out the head weakpoint without having to go back to regain stamina.
