Pelagia

Pelagia is the twelfth colossus. With its strange, stalked eyes and long front legs, it resembles a cross between a gorilla and a sea slug. This colossus is located in a lake behind a bridge on a dam.

[edit] Path to the Colossus
Exiting the shrine, go to the northeast canyon, find the bridge marked by two pillars, and cross it. Following the beams from the sword, you should come to a forest. As soon as you enter the forest, turn immediately to your right. There you should find the exit. Go through and you will find yourself on the side of a cliff. Go up the path as far as you can until you reach the great pillar at the end. Grab onto the ledge on the pillar and climb around to the other side of it. Run further up the path, past the waterfall, until it ends. Here, jump into the water below and swim through the arches and into a lake. Climb onto the nearest of the platforms.

After climbing onto the platform, the colossus will appear. After the cutscene finishes, you have two choices.

The easier, but often slower method.
Jump into the water. Avoid the colossus' energy bolts by diving under. Swim around the colossus, clockwise or counter-clockwise, until you reach its back. Climb up the moss on its back until you reach its head.

The faster, but sometimes tricky method.
Hide behind the broken pillar in the center of the platform of the gazebo like structure. Fire at the colossus with arrows to encourage it. When its horns turn red, duck behind the pillar. Eventually the colossus will rear up onto the platform to find you. It will lower its head. Before it rises, run out from behind the pillar and jump onto it. Climb up its face and onto its head.
Once you have completed one of the preceding, move on.
Hit the teeth-like structures on its head with a sword or arrow, and it will move in that direction. The ones on the right or left make it move in that direction, and the foremost one causes it to move forwards. Using these, steer the colossus to one of the buildings. When you are close enough, jump onto the roof of the building and hide behind the stone protrusion. The colossus will stand up to find you. When it places its forelegs on the roof of the building, leap down onto its chest and stab its vitals. Repeat this two or three times, and the colossus will fall.
