Malus is the sixteenth and final colossus. A towering mage overlooking the entire lands, this colossus is located in quadrant F8 on the map, at the very southern tip of the world.

[edit] Path to the Colossus
The colossus is not hard to find at all - just head as far south as you can. After passing through the narrow canyons southeast of the Shrine, you will emerge onto a vast plain. Head towards the southern mountains and you will soon see a great door. Open it by standing on the seal below it and shining the sword's light into the center hole. This will grant you access to the final area of the game - be sure to make use of the save shrine before continuing.
Shortly up the staircase, you will see a strange-looking bridge. The bridge will collapse too quickly if you try to run across it yourself; you must ride Agro across. Do so and watch the cutscene that follows.
There's no turning back now. Keep climbing up, using the grass and ledges to reach the tunnel at the top. By the time you reach the end of the tunnel, a violent thunderstorm will brew. Once you're at the upper tier of the tunnel, climb up the ridged pillars on either side. Walk a few steps south once you're up on top of the grand citadel to trigger the final battle.

You must first get right under Malus. The good news is he can't move, but the bad news is he will shoot incredibly fast homing fireballs at you to keep you from getting to him. It's a long road there, but follow the path of drops, ledges and barriers to reach him. You will have to take cover behind various barricades along the way - wait until he hits the barrier before making your move. It will take a few minutes, but you will emerge right under his feet.
Start climbing up. It's a long, long fall, so be careful as you jump ever higher. When you finally reach his torso, you may notice that your sword will show you a place to stab. Climb on and do so; the colossus will reach out with its left hand to cover the wound. Quickly jump onto his hand and hold on tight as he brings it out right in front of him. When you get the chance, climb higher up his arm, where your sword will show you yet another place to stab. This time his right hand will come at you, so jump onto it (be extremely careful with this jump). Your goal is to get on the back of his right hand and stab it (even though there's nothing there). Doing so will cause him to level out his hand, back-side up. Quickly get out your bow and shoot at the middle of his left shoulder. The colossus will bring the hand over there, allowing to get to his head.
As you might expect from the final weakpoint of the game, this is not going to be easy. Simply running up onto its head and trying to stab will cause the colossus to thrash about for an extremely long time. There is a way to make the battle go much quicker, however: stab his shoulder lightly with your sword. This will cause him to reach over to the wound, leaving his head completely still for enough time to get up and deliver a full-charged stab; afterwards, simply head back down to his shoulder and stab again.

Amazingly, as fast as Malus's fireballs are, it is possible to run in a certain path along the arena at top speed, narrowly dodging over a dozen fireballs and arriving unscathed at his feet. (Video tutorial) It is also possible to shoot his left shoulder from his "robe". Doing so will cause his left arm to lower, to a reachable level.
