Avion is the fifth colossus. A gigantic bird of prey, this colossus makes its home perched on the tops of a forgotten city sunk in a large lake (quadrant H4 on the map).

[edit] Path to the Colossus

Head directly east from the Shrine, using your sword as a guide as necessary. You will eventually reach the western edge of Avion's lake. Swim under the small opening in the stone arch, and climb up the tower immediately after. Walk forward to a large balcony overlooking the lake to trigger a cutscene showing Avion landing on a tall spire, watching Wander carefully.

[edit] Quick walkthrough

Jump into the lake and swim towards it. You will see three platforms in a row right at water level. Get on either the left or right one and fire an arrow at the colossus. It will come down and swoop right at you; hitch a ride. From here it's simply a matter of hanging on as the colossus flies circles around the lake, twisting and turning trying to throw you off. Be especially careful of the vitals on its wings; doing a lot of damage to them will make Avion do a long barrel roll, so always be mindful of how much grip you have left.

Very skilled - or very lucky - stuntmen may find that they can let go when they are on one of the wings when the wing is pointed upwards (such as when the colossus is turning) and end up close to the tail weakpoint.
