Argus is the fifteenth colossus. Resembling both Valus and Barba in size and build, with a resemblance to a gladiator. This machete-wielding giant is found in the city in quadrant G1 on the map.

[edit] Path to the Colossus
Travel north alongside the bridge. Take care when using the sword to guide you, as the light will initially point straight to the forest leading to Pelagia; this is because the forest is right between you and your destination. Therefore, go north as if going to Celosia, and turn east towards the end of your route to eventually arrive at the northeast corner of the Lands, where a great fortress awaits. Shortly after entering the building, you will have to abandon Agro as a gigantic fallen pillar blocks the hallway. Continue west through the crumbling building and up the grand staircase to find a vast city built on a cliff. Step on the raised ground at the far east end to trigger the battle.

[edit] Quick walkthrough
Step on the raised platforms on the north and south edges of the area. If the colossus comes close enough, he will step on one of the tiles and tilt it upwards, enabling you to climb higher. Once you're up, get the colossus's attention again and he'll hit the side of the arena. This will cause blocks to fall down from above, so watch out! Climb on top of those blocks and from ledge to ledge to climb higher. You should end up on top of the arena, where you can (finally) jump onto the colossus. Take care, however, as he can and will take out both of the bridges spanning the arena's north and south ends. (The broken ends of the bridges, however, provide excellent platforms for jumping onto him.)
Carefully take out his head weakpoint - he'll thrash around a lot, and if you get thrown off you get to climb up the arena again. (For Hard Mode players: be sure you have a lot of stamina before tackling the chest weakpoint.) The remaining sigil, in his right hand, poses a problem - it's the hand holding the cleaver, so you'll have to find a way to make him drop it. Fortunately, your sword will point out a point on the back of his right arm where you can stab to make him do just that. Once that's done, drop to the ground. Get in front of him, and wait until he attacks you by pounding his fists on the ground - that's your opportunity to finally jump into his palm and take out the final weakpoint.

[edit] Tricks
If you really want to save time, you can jump and hold onto the armor covering his legs, and just climb straight up from there. This trick is very unreliable, however, and must be timed extremely well. Also, if you consistently call for Agro just after dismounting him on the way to Argus, you can take Agro to the battle(only works before the battle). This trick does not work in Time Attack or Reminiscence mode.
The hand weak point can also be reached from above. After taking out the head, (and heart in hard) you can fall/climb down to his elbow weak point. Once he has dropped his cleaver, you can drop from there to his bracer. You can climb around his bracer to the inside of his wrist and drop into his palm.
